What we publish
English press releases from game studios, publishers, and agencies. The headline, the fact sheet, and the body have to describe the same news. A release that only says a game exists is not enough.
Review copies
If a release offers a key, a public demo, or copies on request, that offer has to be real. A release that offers nothing does not say otherwise. Keys are not pasted into the body.
Ratings and legal lines
An age rating says Rating Pending until a board has assigned one. Platform names are the official ones. Trademark lines are the studio’s, and they stay in the legal notes rather than the headline.
Sources
When a release was first published somewhere else, the page says “Originally published at” and names that site. gili keeps its own address for the copy and does not tell search engines to treat that copy as the original.
Corrections
A studio can edit a release while it is still in review. Taking a published release down requires a reason, and the editor who did it is recorded. Questions about a release go to the press contact named on that page.
